PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Teachers in six states can get free coffee at Wawa for a limited time starting Monday, Sept. 2, the company announced.
As students head back to school, teachers in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, and Washington DC can take advantage of this “Cheers to Classrooms” offer through September 15.
The deal also extends to school employees. All the eligible freebie recipient has to do is tell the cashier they are a member of a local school system.
This offer can only be claimed in Wawa stores and is not available through the app or delivery services.
“We hope this small gesture shows our deep appreciation for all that teachers and school staff do for children in the community,” said Dave Simonettis, Wawa’s Senior Director of Store Operations, in a press release.
Wawa offered this deal to teachers in Alabama and Florida in August.
