PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Wednesday will start off with plenty of sunshine in the Delaware Valley and high temperatures around 78 degrees.
A few passing afternoon and evening showers are possible later in the day, and while no severe weather is expected from these storms, isolated thunderstorms and brief rain showers are possible.
Looking at the timing, skies will begin to cloud over in Philadelphia around 2 p.m. We can also expect some showers around 5-6 p.m. The city may see some thunderstorms, but Delaware and the Jersey Shore appear to have the best chance of seeing more thunder, lightning and heavier rain showers around 7:30 to 8 p.m.
A few showers will remain possible overnight and Thursday morning, and there is a chance of a few cloudy spells, but overall the rest of the day will be warm and sunny.
Despite the chance of rain, humidity will remain low until the end of the week. As we head into the weekend we are looking at a stunning stretch of weather with several sunny days and highs in the mid 70s.
