BOSTON – July 4th may be Thursday, but the festivities continue throughout the holiday weekend in Massachusetts! Plus, the town of Marlboro is hosting a farmers market on Saturday.

Quincy Patriotic Celebration

Head to Hancock-Adams Common in Quincy on Saturday to enjoy live performances by singers, songwriters, and Broadway’s finest. Also, watch for stilt walkers, flutes, and drums to celebrate the holiday. Don’t miss it from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.

Franklin 4th of July Carnival

Franklin is home this weekend for a 4th of July carnival that is sure to put a smile on your little one’s face. With games, rides, and delicious treats, it’s a fun way to celebrate Independence Day. Don’t miss it Friday through Sunday, with a special fireworks show on July 6 at 10 p.m.

When: Friday July 5th from 2pm to 10pm; Saturday July 6th from 12pm to 10pm; Sunday July 7th from 12pm to 6pm

Marlboro Farmers Market

Get outside and enjoy a farmers market in Marlboro! Head to City Hall on Saturdays from 9am-1pm and shop for local artisans and fresh produce from local farms while enjoying live music and great food. If you can’t make it this weekend, you can visit on Saturdays through the fall.

When: Saturday July 6 from 9am to 1pm Every Saturday through October 5
