MINNEAPOLIS – Our Friday will look unsettled in the Twin Cities for most of the day, with clouds and isolated showers and storms – some of which could bring heavy rain showers.
The clouds drop the temperature to almost 70 degrees.
The weekend will be warm, with temperatures near 80 degrees on both days, and there will be many dry spells. But a few showers may linger until Saturday morning.

There will be better storm chances again on Sunday, especially towards the evening, and some of those storms could be severe.
A few storms may linger into Monday morning, but we will see a lull before another system brings more storms late Tuesday through Wednesday.
The amount of precipitation expected to fall this time next week looks to be around 2 to 4 inches.
