What are the in-demand, high-paying occupations in Kansas? Here are the top 15 jobs.

If you’re looking for a career with job security and good pay, the state has a list for you.

The Kansas Department of Labor has released its annual economic report, with data on occupations expected to see the highest growth, as well as above-average wages.

The state measured high-demand occupations based on current vacancies and forecasts of vacancies over the next two years and 10 years. While some high-demand occupations pay below the statewide average wage of $45,250, this list only includes fields that pay above that.

“High-demand occupations are those expected to be in highest demand by Kansas employers,” the KDOL report said. “The High Demand Career Lists are intended to help students, teachers, administrators and others make informed decisions about career paths.”

The list also lists educational requirements, such as whether a college degree is needed.
