Looking for luxury living or a unique secluded retreat nestled in the woods?
You’re in luck with these six Pueblo County properties that are among the best real estate agents have to offer. These are the most expensive houses for sale locally.
“In Pueblo County, we have sold three properties for over $1 million in the last nine months,” says Julie Crain, a real estate agent selling the third home on our list.
Homes sold in 2024 include one in Mountain View Estates, just west of Swallows Road in Pueblo West, which sold on September 6 for $1.175 million.
“On April 5, a home sold for $1.181 million in Signal Mountain in Beulah. On September 19, a home in the Rye and San Isabel area sold for $1.925 million,” Crain said. “We currently have 11 homes listed in Pueblo County for over $1 million.”
Bill Donahue of Bill Makes it Happen RE LLC in Pueblo West shows house No. 4 on our list.
“It’s a little harder to sell expensive homes in Pueblo County because “there aren’t many people with $2 million in their pockets. Houses over a million dollars are selling, it just takes more time and more patience,” he said.
He said that when a luxury home is sold, it is not about the price, but more about the buyer’s desire to own that particular home.

No. 4: 6430 Signal Mountain Road, Beulah
Located in the private gated community of Signal Mountain Subdivision on 40 acres, this stone country home is truly one of a kind thanks to the design of world-renowned architect Michael Imber. It is listed for $1.52 million.
Built in 2000, the 4,376-square-foot home has three bedrooms, four bathrooms, an attached three-car garage and a detached four-car garage.
“Imber has only designed two homes in Colorado and he hand-picks everything. For example, the large stone in the center of the fireplace was chosen specifically for the fireplace in that home,” Donahue told the newspaper. Chieftain.
Another Imber accent is an 1819 bench from an Irish tavern that adorns the kitchen.
“He just adds cool things to it. It’s a beautiful place,” Donahue said.
Donahue’s favorite amenities include in-floor hot water heat throughout the wood-floored home, a huge commercial gas stove in the kitchen, a secret room on the lower level, and an outdoor pond.
“There is a sitting room off the master bedroom and the windows face east so you can see beautiful sunrises from there. The screened porch is an ideal place to view the deer and elk,” he said.
The property is bordered by a further 40 hectares adjacent to it, giving the buyer the option to purchase a total of 80 hectares.

No. 5: 9441 Colorado Highway 78, Beulah
This one-and-a-half-story home, located on 69.5 acres of woods, was built in 2000. It is for sale for $1.3 million.
The 2,064-square-foot home features vaulted ceilings, three bedrooms, two bathrooms, an attached two-car garage and a detached three-car garage. In addition, an unfinished full basement is available for multiple purposes.
According to the Pueblo Association of Realtors website, the home is a chef’s delight thanks to a kitchen with granite countertops, a stainless steel gas range and bright skylights.
The parcel borders public land “on multiple sides,” said Elizabeth Daniel, a real estate agent with HomeSmart Preferred Realty in Pueblo. “It has owned solar and a private well.”
Daniel said her favorite features in the home are “a main floor master bedroom with an en suite bathroom, custom hardwood floors and an office with stained glass windows.”
“If you like exploration, check out an abandoned boxcar, two Spanish mines, rock formations, a petrified tree and keep your eyes peeled for the abundant wildlife,” she said.
Daniel can be reached via email at coreproed@gmail.com or by phone at 719-821-1475.

Built in 2022 in the St. Charles River Estates south of Pueblo, this beautiful modern stucco home sits on a 5.67-acre lot and is the newest home listed. It costs $1.17 million.
The 3,398-square-foot ranch-style home features four bedrooms, four bathrooms and an attached three-car garage.
The unique house is in a quiet location, but only 15 minutes from the center of Pueblo.
Realtors Eve Courson and Jennifer Wood of LIV Sotheby’s International Realty in Colorado Springs agree that the show-stopper of the property is the state-of-the-art Bosch-equipped gourmet kitchen with quartz countertops. The sleek, custom cabinetry offers an array of hidden features, such as pull-out drawers, a coffee station, a refrigerator, a dishwasher, plus “my favorite is a huge hidden pantry with a second refrigerator,” Wood said.
Courson’s favorite feature is the oversized kitchen island with a custom oversized sink, extra storage and plenty of seating, which she said “extends your entertaining from the heartbeat of the home to the elegant dining room or covered outdoor area.”
The home has plenty of windows, soaring 22-foot ceilings, multiple glass doorways, and an open floor plan that offers uninterrupted views. Energy efficiency, natural light and three Dimplex fireplaces all ensure comfort and the private rear garden is maintenance free.
The lower level with walk-out is just as impressive as the main level and the attention to detail is best viewed in person.
“It’s an amazing house with so many wonderful features,” Wood said.
