Holiday shopping has changed in recent years and this year many stores are offering deals ahead of Black Friday, which is historically one of the biggest sales days of the year. This year, major retailers and some local stores that are closed on Thanksgiving will open their doors early on November 29th.

Is Academy Sports open on Black Friday?
Academy Sports + Outdoors, at 123 S. Kingston Drive, is open from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Bloomingfoods is open Black Friday from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Will Best Buy be open on Black Friday?
The Bloomington Best Buy store opens at 9 a.m
Will Dick’s Sporting Goods be open on Black Friday?
Dick’s Sporting Goods opens at 6 a.m. on November 29.
Will DSW be open on Black Friday?
DSW opens on November 29 at 10am.
Will Half Price Books be open on Black Friday?
Half Price Books is open during regular business hours on Black Friday, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Is Kohl’s open on Black Friday?
Kohl’s opens at 5 a.m. on November 29.

Kroger stores are ready for Black Friday shoppers and will open at 6 a.m. on November 29.
Is Lowe’s open on Black Friday?
Lowe’s opens at 5am on November 29th. The store’s sale began on November 6 and will run through December 4.
