McCoy’s Chophouse is officially on the market.
In a statement on Facebook on Sunday, November 17, Endicott restaurant owner Jim McCoy said the business was for sale.
The eatery on W. Main Street in Endicott opened in 2020, merging McCoy’s previous Lampy’s and Number 5 restaurants.

While the business is on the market, McCoy said the restaurant is not closing.
“No, we are not closing,” McCoy said in the statement. “In fact, we are improving; we are updating the menu and starting some new promotions.”
According to the online property listing, the restaurant is for sale for $809,000.
McCoy praised his staff for their continued hard work, saying he is the “only weak person” within the company, “and that’s the change I want to make.” Despite this, McCoy doesn’t plan on going anywhere anytime soon.
“But if I sell, I’ll probably still be there,” McCoy said. “What else would I do?”
