More than 2 million votes have already been cast in California in the run-up to the fast-approaching Election Day in early November.
According to California Secretary of State statistics, 2,402,975 ballots were cast in the state on Tuesday. County election officials began sending mail-in ballots to registered voters just over two weeks ago.

When does early voting start in California?
Some early voting sites opened on October 7. People can visit caearlyvoting.sos.ca.gov to find a location near them to vote early in California.
Does California Have Same Day Voter Registration?
Although the deadline to register to vote was Monday for the general election, Californians can still cast their ballots through the Same Day Voter Registration process. According to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, people can register and vote at their provincial election office, polling place or voting center. You can find a location near you at caearlyvoting.sos.ca.gov.
When is the last day to vote?
Election day is Tuesday, November 5. People must cast their votes before they close at 8 p.m. Voters returning their ballots by mail must ensure they are postmarked by Nov. 5 and received by the county elections official by Nov. 5. then November 12. People who want to drop off their ballot at a ballot box must do so on November 5 at 8 p.m., according to the State Secretary.

Who’s in charge of early voting?

However, a new poll of people who have already voted shows Vice President Kamala Harris leading former President Donald Trump 63%-34%, USA TODAY reported.
