Each week, the Clarion Ledger highlights the achievements of outstanding local high school students. Of the five nominees, only one can be Jackson Metro Student of the Week.
The votes are in.
It was a close race. With 49% of the vote, Raivyn Lewis of Forest Hill High School is Clarion Ledger’s Jackson Metro Student of the Week for December 8-14.
Lewis was also nominated for Student of the Week from September 15 to 21.
As an APAC student, Lewis earned a 4.0 while being a basketball athlete. She is always willing to go above and beyond for her peers, who can always count on her to greet them with a smile. Lewis participates in student government, is a new member of JROTC and basketball.

You can vote to determine the next Jackson Metro Student of the Week. The polling stations open on Monday morning and close on Thursday afternoon. The winners will be announced on Friday.
