Firefighters quickly extinguished a wildfire that ravaged the I-5 Freeway in Castaic on Sunday.
According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, the fire was reported around 4 p.m. near 29300 The Old Road.
About an hour later, it appeared the fire was fully under control thanks to SkyCal overhead.
A small patch of scrub had been burned, but the flames were prevented from spreading to the surrounding dry scrub.
No further information has been provided.
