Nashville police are searching for a suspect after a teen was killed and two others were injured during a shooting outside a club over the weekend.
Ashley Dominguez, 18, was with friends outside an after-hours club in the 900 block of Murfreesboro Pike on Sunday when the shooting happened about 5:30 a.m., police said in a statement
Witnesses told investigators there was a heated argument before shots were fired into a car carrying Dominguez and four others, the affidavit said.
The driver of the car stopped a few blocks later after realizing that Dominguez and two 19-year-olds were injured by the gunfire. All three were taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where Dominguez died.
The other two women were treated and released, police said.
No arrests have been made in the case, but detectives have interviewed several people, they said.
