A West Columbia woman was arrested Thursday morning as a suspect in a bank robbery.
Satorius Zayevon Martin, 30, of West Columbia, was arrested around 1:30 p.m. Thursday. Earlier in the day, around 11:30 a.m., West Columbia police received a report of a robbery at the Security Federal Bank on Sunset Boulevard.
The FBI and the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department joined the West Columbia Police Department’s investigation, leading to Martin’s arrest several hours later.
Martin was booked into the Lexington County Detention Center and charged with theft/entering a bank, deposit or loan with intent to steal. Police did not say how much was stolen from the bank or share other details about the theft in a statement about the arrest shared Thursday afternoon.
