A woman died after apparently being set on fire in a subway car in Brooklyn, and police are investigating her death as a possible homicide, sources said.
The woman, who sources said was homeless, was approached by a man on a stationary F train at the Coney Island-Stillwell Ave subway stop around 7:30 a.m.
They then ignited and the man left the scene, sources said. EMS medics responded and the woman was pronounced dead on the subway platform.
Police have not made any arrests in the case. The woman’s identity has not yet been released.
