Woman dies after motorcyclist collides with CTA bus in Ashburn neighborhood

CHICAGO (CBS) — A 41-year-old woman died early Sunday morning after her bicycle collided with a CTA bus on the city’s South Side.

It happened around 4:15 a.m. in the 7800 block of South Western Avenue.

According to Chicago police, the woman was riding a three-wheeled motorcycle northbound when it collided with the bus, which was also traveling northbound.

She was taken to Christ Hospital, where she died. Her identity has not been released.

There were no other injuries.

The Major Accident Investigation Department was conducting an investigation.
