LEMONT, Ill. (CBS) — A woman died after being hit by a train in the suburb of Lemont on Saturday afternoon.
According to Lemont police, a 47-year-old woman was struck by an Amtrak train at the intersection of Main Street and Stephen Street.
The incident is being investigated by the Lemont Police Department, which says it is cooperating with Amtrak.
No further information was immediately available.
