While Dodgers World Series champion Kiké Hernández is on break from the baseball diamond, he’ll pick up a pair of deep fryers to serve chicken at Raising Cane’s in Alhambra on Monday.

From 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., Hernández will fill in as a fry cook and cashier at the fast food chain, giving fans a chance to grab their chicken and greet the Dodgers star.

His teammate Mookie Betts worked a shift at the Valley Boulevard Raising Cane location in March, where swarms of customers dressed in Dodgers blue lined up for a chance to be served by Betts. Raising Cane partners with Betts’ 5050 Foundationdonating $100,000 to the foundation.

Hernández is still riding high on victory as he celebrated his second career World Series victory last week, followed by a parade attended by thousands of delighted Dodgers fans.

The Puerto Rican native Hernández has been in the Majors since 2014 and has played every position except catcher, spending most of his time in the outfield and second base.

Hernández spent eight seasons with the Dodgers, from 2015 to 2017, and then again in 2023 and 2024. He became a free agent after the 2023 season and re-signed with the Dodgers for the 2024 season.
