WVU police warn campus after burglary incidents

West Virginia University police issued a campus alert Tuesday morning following two break-ins.

One burglary occurred at 633 North Spruce Street, a university building, and the other occurred off-campus.

The university said a cleaning crew arrived at the building on North Spruce Street and found three people, two men and a woman, who were not authorized to be there.

The three suspects fled.

One person was arrested for the off-campus burglary.

The university states that the incidents are unrelated.
