Whether you consider yourself a gamer or not, chances are you’ve played a digital game this year. More than half the country does that. Web games are faster and more powerful than they have been in a decade, and there is a resurgence of interest among all age groups.

Whether you play to wake up your brain, brighten up the lunch break or relax on the couch, your love for the game has grown exponentially this year. According to internal data, the number of Yahoo Games played per month increased elevenfold between January and November this year. Two games even broke into the Top 10 of new Yahoo searches for 2024: The New York Times’ Connections And Infinite craft. While the Crossword puzzle was the gateway game for many, your tastes have expanded this year among the more than 150 Yahoo Games we offer on our site.
