  The entire World Series Game 1 featured only two unintentional walks: a Juan Soto BB in the first inning and Gavin Lux’s crucial free pass in the bottom of the 10th, giving the Dodgers’ top brass a chance to run things away. Game 2’s leadoff hitter, Gleyber Torres, just walked to start the night. That’s a key for the Yanks, who ran 70 times more than any other club this year.

  Some notes on the lineups: It’s the exact same lineup as yesterday for the Yankees, while the Dodgers have done some reshuffling to prepare for left-handed NYY starter Carlos Rodón after facing right-hander Gerrit Cole.

  Tommy Edman, a left-handed masher, moved from ninth to fifth in the lineup and also moves to center field, while Kiké Hernández moves to second base and left-hander Gavin Lux sits. Miguel Rojas, who missed the NLCS with a leg injury, will get his first start at shortstop.
