New Orleans Pelicans star Zion Williamson has suffered another major setback. The Pelicans announced Saturday that the 24-year-old forward has been diagnosed with a left hamstring strain and will be out indefinitely.
Williamson missed Friday night’s loss to the Orlando Magic with left hamstring tightness and underwent medical imaging Saturday morning. He is evaluated weekly.

After impressing in his first two seasons, Williamson did not play in the 2021-22 season after suffering a fracture in his right foot during the offseason. In January 2023, he was sidelined again due to a season-ending hamstring injury.
