Two people were killed Thursday morning after a plane crash in McKinney, Star-Telegram news partner WFAA reported.
The accident happened around 10:30 a.m. near County Road 317, south of McKinney National Airport.
There were three people on board the plane. The third person, who did not die, was taken to Parkland Hospital, WFAA reported.
McKinney police told WFAA that the Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the crash. The plane appeared to have crashed into a pile of dirt and gravel at a facility south of the airport. Several firefighters arrived on the scene.
Authorities have not yet released the names of the people killed in the crash.
