A four-year-old Torrance boy was found safe after going missing earlier this week during a family camping trip to Huntington Lake in Fresno County.
According to the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office, Christian Ramirez walked away from the Rancheria Campground around 10 a.m. Thursday wearing only a T-shirt, shorts and sneakers.
After nearly 24 hours, Christian was found in good condition around 8 a.m. by a search party consisting of about 50 deputies, rangers and volunteers who spent the night searching.
Officers say he was found under a tree almost a quarter mile from where he was last seen.
“Christian is in good condition, he was just tired and hungry,” officers said. “He has been reunited with his parents.”
They provided no further details on the matter, but the Ramirez family has since returned to Torrance.
