Disneyland Resort announces admission discounts

Disneyland Resort guests find that it pays to be a kid.

Or a Southern California resident or a Disney+ subscriber.

All three groups receive discounted admission to Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure.

Guests can pilot their own rocket ship on the Astro Orbitor, located in Tomorrowland at Disneyland in Anaheim. Admission discounts have recently been announced.

Children have a great time at Disneyland Resort

Children ages 3 to 9 can visit Anaheim’s two theme parks for just $50 per day. That’s good for January 7 to March 20.

Sorry, Mom and Dad. Even if you’re a kid at heart, you pay the usual admission with this offer. But as previously noted, adults may qualify for other discounts.

Disneyland hosts Candlelight Processional

The holiday spirit continues to rise at Disneyland Park, where guests will attend the annual Candlelight Processional this weekend.

The long-standing Christmas tradition will take place at 5:30 PM and 7:45 PM on December 7 and 8, but Disney is not releasing any further details about the private event.

The Candlelight Processional began in 1958. It is notable for its famous storytellers, an orchestra, a large candlelight choir marching down Main Street USA, bell ringers and trumpet fanfare. Last year’s surprise narrator was “Captain Marvel” star Brie Larson.

The Candlelight Processional is also part of the vacation experience at Epcot at Walt Disney World in Orlando. See the story in USA Today.
