Dec. 8 – MENNO, SD – The name of the man who died in a single-vehicle crash near Menno on Wednesday evening has been released.
Preliminary information about the crash indicates that Adam Van Hove, the driver of a 2004 Cadillac Escalade, was traveling eastbound on US Highway 18. The vehicle left the road into a north ditch, through a field, and ultimately collided with a tree. Van Hove was pronounced dead at the scene.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the case. All information so far is preliminary.
The Highway Patrol is an agency of the South Dakota Department of Public Safety.
