Arrest over a year after fatal overdose

April 17 – More than a year after a fatal overdose in Lebanon, a suspect has been arrested and charged with murder.

After a woman was found dead on March 19, 2023, Lebanon police believed the death was the result of an overdose. An autopsy and laboratory tests confirmed that the woman had overdosed on a mixture of methamphetamine and fentanyl.

Caster Williams was identified as the source of the drugs and was taken into custody Thursday after the Wilson County Grand Jury issued two murder indictments.

Williams was arrested without incident.

The Lebanon Police Department stated that additional information regarding this case cannot be released due to ongoing litigation.
