Bailey leaves the Phillies game with blurred vision

Bailey leaves game against Phillies with blurred vision originally appeared on NBC Sports Bay Area

Patrick Bailey was removed from the game Friday during the second inning of the Giants’ game against the Philadelphia Phillies at Citizens Bank Park due to blurred vision and is being evaluated.

Bailey’s injury appeared to stem from being hit by a foul ball off the bat of Phillies third baseman Alec Bohm in the bottom of the first inning.

The 24-year-old catcher was replaced by veteran Tom Murphy when leaving Friday’s game.
