(CBS-DETROIT) – The NFL has revealed that Big Sean, Bazzi, the Detroit Youth Choir and more local artists will perform as part of the concert series for the 2024 NFL Draft in Detroit.
Detroit native and multiplatinum recording artist Big Sean will perform on Thursday, April 25 at 6:15 PM before the draft selections begin.
The Detroit Youth Choir will then perform on Friday, April 26 at 6 p.m., before the draft selections that day.
After the second and third rounds on Friday, April 26, there will be a fireworks show and a tribute to Detroit music.
Then, on Saturday, April 27, Michigan singer and songwriter Bazzi, known for his 2018 hit single “Mine,” will close the concert series after draft selections are completed.
“With the Draft coming to Detroit, we knew how important it was to represent this city’s rich cultural history and music legacy as part of our NFL Draft Concert Series,” said Tim Tubito, director of event presentation and content for the NFL. “With an incredible line-up of headliners all from the region, we are thrilled to have these amazing artists helping us create a great on-site experience for our fans and potential customers.”
In addition to these headliners, Detroit artist Angela Davis will perform “Lift Every Voice and Sing,” and Caleb Carroll, a Metro Detroit native who has performed at Lions Games, will sing the national anthem. This will happen on the first day of the draft.
All performances will take place at the Draft Theater on Campus Martius Park in Detroit.
The concerts are free for fans. Admission is on a first come, first served basis and for standing room only. Fans must download the NFL One Pass app on their phone for free access.
