Travel is restricted this morning in Monroe, Brown, Lawrence and Morgan counties. A travel warning, the highest advisory level, applies to the four provinces. Owen, Greene and Martin counties remain under travel controls, meaning only essential travel is recommended.

The following locations have announced closures for Monday, January 6.

The Special Olympics training has been canceled

Bloomington Meals on Wheels deliveries have been canceled

Bloomington Boys and Girls Clubs will be closed, including winter holiday camps in Ellettsville and Owen County.

Bloomington Iron and Metal is closed.

All Monroe County Waste Reduction District locations are closed.

The Bloomington Redevelopment Commission meeting is canceled.

Some IU Health offices will be closed. Contact your provider.

Bloomfield School District is closed. It will be an eLearning day. Teachers will post eLearning assignments before 9am on Mondays

Brown County Schools are closed and students are having an e-Learning Day. The board meeting will be rescheduled for Monday, January 13 at 6:00 PM in the Goldberg Room

Lighthouse Christian Academy is closed.

All Monroe County Community School Corporation (MCCSC) schools will be closed Monday. All in-person programs, including the Early Learning Center, Hoosier Hills Child Care, preschool and pre-K programs, and extended days, are closed. All after-school activities are cancelled.
