The influencer at the center of Barry Keoghan and Sabrina Carpenter’s breakup rumors says she has never met the actor.
Breckie Hill, a 21-year-old TikToker with more than 4.3 million followers, used the app to set the record straight. She told her audience in a Dec. 7 video that despite blind talk and gossip claiming she hung out with Keoghan in West Hollywood before his divorce from the “Espresso” singer, she was actually out of town with some friends.
Hill, who says she is recovering from a broken spine due to a skiing accident, said that not only has she “not been with Barry,” but she has “never encountered him in her life” — except on her TV screen, when she saw him in the 2023 film Salt burn.

The influencer said she initially reposted a video containing the cheating rumors because she thought they were “ridiculous” — not because she confirmed they were true.
“As someone who has been cheated on in several relationships, I would never want to destroy a relationship or put a girl through that pain,” Hill said.
Hill also explained that some people were watching too much of her recent video at BOA Steakhouse restaurant in West Hollywood, in which she discussed drinks — including a margarita that she said was “too salty,” which one TikToker claimed was a veiled reference to Keoghan’s role in it. Salt burn.
“Another drink I was reviewing happened to be called a ‘Blackberry Smash’ on the BOA Steakhouse menu, which this person at the time thought was also a Barry reference,” Hill explained. “The whole thing is for me crazy.
“I hope we can all stop spreading rumors and tearing other people down so quickly, especially without knowing the facts,” Hill concluded. “I would say almost most of the things said on the internet are not true. So if you take anything away from this, I’d say take everything you see on the internet with a grain of salt, and just be nice.
Hill isn’t the only one asking people to be kind in response to these rumors. Keoghan himself went to X on Saturday to address people who hurled insults at him, violating his privacy and the privacy of his loved ones.
“I can only sit and take so much.” The Batman actor wrote in his post. “My name has been dragged around the internet in ways that I normally wouldn’t respond to [sic]. I have to respond now because it’s getting to the point where too many lines are being crossed.
Keoghan and Carpenter began dating in 2023. They appeared together in the music video for Carpenter’s song “Please, Please, Please”, in which the actor portrays a criminal who Carpenter must routinely bail out of prison.
Neither has spoken out directly about their alleged breakup, and it’s likely that Carpenter never will anyway. The former Disney Channel star, who is currently on tour to promote her album Short and sweetW said in an interview in September: “I understand why people are interested [in my love life.] But they can listen to my album and decide for themselves what the songs are about.”
