NEW YORK — Caleb Rijos, a Bronx boy, died after being stabbed multiple times in the chest, New York City police said.
The 14-year-old was found unresponsive Friday morning outside a building on 138th Street in the Mott Haven neighborhood.
He was later pronounced dead at hospital.

Rijos lived around the corner on Alexander Avenue, police said. Detectives were in a building there and spoke with grieving family members.
Neighbors outside were stunned by the boy’s death.
“I’m in shock right now. I’m very shocked. You touched my heart,” Awilda Miranda said. “He’s a child, just like my grandchildren.”
Police have released a photo of a person wanted in connection with the murder.
No arrests have been made and police have not revealed a possible motive for the teen’s murder.
