A violent single-car crash knocked out power in a San Fernando neighborhood Wednesday evening.
According to San Fernando Police Department officers, it happened in the 1300 block of Truman Street just before 10 p.m.
They arrived to find a completely destroyed electrical box on the side of the road, with an overturned car just a few meters away.
The circumstances leading up to the horrific crash are still unclear, but police say the driver was uninjured.
They were arrested on suspicion of drink driving after remaining at the scene to wait for police.
Southern California Edison has been notified of the outage, police said.
