Gas prices in Ohio are down from last week: see how much here

State gas prices fell last week, reaching an average of $3.39 per gallon of regular fuel on Monday, down from last week’s price of $3.52 per gallon, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration.

The average price of fuel in the state has increased by about 18 cents since last month. Gas prices across the state last year were as low as $2.61 on Jan. 8, 2024, and as high as $3.69 on April 10, 2023, according to the EIA.

A year ago, the average gas price in Ohio was 6% higher at $3.62 per gallon.

The average price of gas in the United States last week was $3.63, making prices in the state about 6.5% lower than the national average. The average national gas price increased from last week’s average of $3.59 per gallon.
