Harmony Public Schools Sets New Enrollment Record With Largest Class Ever

Aug. 20 – Harmony Public Schools campuses in Texas kicked off the 2024-25 school year last week, setting a new record for enrollment at the free, public charter school across the state.

About 45,000 students enrolled at Harmony for the first day of school, up from about 42,000 a year ago, a press release said.

The record growth is attributed to a number of factors, including the opening of new campuses in Fort Worth, Midland, Katy and Beaumont, as well as an increased focus on family engagement and retention and continued academic success.

On the spring 2023 STAAR test, Harmony students scored above the state average for student achievement in every grade and subject tested. Harmony also finished the 2023-24 school year with 12 additional National School of Character awards.

All high schools in Harmony are also included in the 2023-2024 U.S. News & World Report rankings of America’s Best High Schools.

Harmony Public Schools are more than 60 high-performing PreK-12 college preparatory charter schools across Texas. Harmony combines the highest standards and expectations with a rigorous math and science-focused curriculum and dedicated and engaged teachers and families to cultivate excellence and prepare students for success in college, careers, and life.

Harmony Public Schools is currently accepting applications for the 2024-2025 school year for students and team members.
