Election day is Tuesday. Here’s how to vote in Minnesota.

To vote, a person must be 18 years of age or older on Election Day, be a U.S. citizen, reside in Minnesota for at least twenty days, not be currently incarcerated for a crime, and not be under a court order restricting the right to vote is withdrawn. .

The deadline to register to vote before Election Day was October 15. However, Minnesotans can still register to vote on Election Day.

There are three ways to vote:

By Mail: Mail-in and absentee ballots must be received by local elections offices by 8:00 PM on Election Day to be counted. Voters can track their ballot at mnvotes.gov/trackmyballot.

Early in person: Residents can vote in person at their local elections office during business hours through November 4. There will also be special early voting hours on: Saturday, November 2, from 9am to 3pm; Sunday, November 3 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; and open until 5 p.m. on Monday, November 4

In-person on Election Day: Minnesotans can vote in person at their local polling place on Tuesday, November 5. Polling places can be found at mnvotes.gov/pollfinder. All polling stations are open until 8 p.m. If voters line up to vote before 8 p.m., they can vote. In Minnesota, people can register to vote on Election Day.

The service is available Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm and during extended early voting hours: Saturday, November 2 from 9am to 3pm; Sunday, November 3 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; and on Monday, November 4 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m
