When it comes to Halloween, Heidi Klum is in a class of her own.

For more than two decades, the supermodel has hosted her annual Halloween party in New York City, unveiling her elaborately designed costume for the year.

After hours of waiting, fans tuned into Klum’s Instagram Live at 10 p.m. ET on Halloween night to see her debut her 2024 costume: ET, from Steven Spielberg’s 1982 film of the same name.

Ahead of her big reveal, Klum appeared on an Amazon livestream alongside her prosthetic designer Mike Marino to answer questions about her costume and give viewers a chance to peek into her extensive preparation process.

During the hour-long stream, Klum hinted that she’s dressing up as something that’s alive, can sing, has “a lot of wrinkles” and “works 360.”

“That’s part of the performance,” Klum said. “These are moving sculptures. We have to make sure everything works. It is a living work of art. It is performance art.”
