CAMDEN – The Adventure Aquarium at the Camden Waterfront is in the running for USA Today’s Best Readers’ Choice Awards for best aquarium.
The Adventure Aquarium finished in fourth place last year.
The aquarium is home to more than 15,000 marine animals in more than 2 million liters of water with their stars in the shapes of the world’s smallest species of penguins, hippos and many more creatures.
The Adventure Aquarium is open Monday to Friday from 10am to 4pm and on Saturday and Sunday from 9:30am to 5pm.
As of April 16, the Adventure Aquarium is in fifth place. Voting will continue until May 13 at noon. The winners will be announced a week later.
