CHICAGO (CBS) — A man and a dog were killed in a crash on the Bishop For Freeway Friday morning, according to Illinois State Police.
The accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-94 near 115th Street.
State police said the driver was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead. Police later confirmed that a dog that was in the vehicle also died.
The southbound lanes at 115th are closed for investigation.
Motorists are advised to find an alternative route.
