MINNEAPOLIS — Minneapolis police are investigating a shooting that seriously injured a man on the city’s north side Thursday afternoon.

Minneapolis police say officers were called to a shooting at an apartment on the 2200 block of Golden Valley Road around 3:16 p.m.

Upon arrival, officers found a man with possibly life-threatening gunshot wounds. He was transported to North Memorial Medical Center.

Preliminary information, according to police, shows that the argument escalated into gunfire. The damage from the shooting extended into the hallway of the apartment complex.

There were no suspects in the apartment when police arrived and no arrests have been made.

The incident is under investigation.
