A man was killed Sunday when an argument escalated into a shooting in North Hollywood.
According to Los Angeles Police Department detectives, it happened around 12:50 a.m. at 12400 Burbank Boulevard, near Whitsett Avenue.
They say the victim, a 52-year-old man, got into an argument with a man between 30 and 40 years old, which quickly escalated into a shooting.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. He has not yet been identified.
The suspect was arrested on the spot, police said.
