Manteca Police Want Information About Mercedes That May Be Connected to Murder of Stockton Rapper

MANTECA — Manteca police asked the community Friday for information about a black Mercedes-Benz believed to be involved in the 2022 murder of a Stockton rap artist.

Police have released a photo of the vehicle with license plate 6YST960.

On August 5, 2022 at 8:17 a.m., officers responded to 176 Trevino Ave. for reports of a possible shooting at an apartment complex.

Disean Victor, 29, of Manteca, also known by his music name Young Slo-Be, was found at the scene with multiple gunshot wounds. The rapper died from his injuries.

Manteca police detectives still working the case said they have located the Mercedes in Tracy and suspect it was involved in the shooting.

At the time of the shooting, police said it did not appear to be a random act. However, they said they would not release any further information.

Police are now asking for the community’s help in identifying the occupants of the black Mercedes, which detectives believe drove to Manteca from out of town.

Anyone who believes they saw the vehicle in their neighborhood before the shooting is asked to contact the Manteca Police Department’s Crime Stoppers tip line at (209) 823-4636.

Following the rapper’s death, Thizzler On The Roof, a hip-hop and rap music video platform, said it was an honor to work with Victor and that they were heartbroken to say goodbye. They said in a statement on their website that he was a rising star.

Thizzler said Victor’s work ethic and the care he put into his craft have gotten him far. The 29-year-old artist’s most mainstream success came with his song “I Love You,” which has 19.6 million streams on Spotify and 19,600 videos with the audio on TikTok.
