A 20-year-old Meridian woman died Saturday in a motorcycle crash near Lucky Peak Dam in Ada County.
The woman was riding a 2024 Yamaha YZFR3 in the left lane on Idaho 21 at mile marker 9.5 when she failed to complete a turn and overturned the motorcycle, according to a news release Sunday from the Idaho State Police.
The crash happened at 8:29 p.m. Saturday evening, police said. The driver, who was wearing a helmet, died at the scene from her injuries. No other vehicles were involved.
The police are investigating the accident.
