No one was injured Wednesday when a billboard suddenly fell in the yard of a South Los Angeles home.
It happened around 11:30 a.m., when for unknown reasons the billboard fell onto the wall just outside a two-story home in the 5800 block of S. Broadway Street, the Los Angeles Fire Department said.
“The billboard did not damage the home or cause any injuries,” the fire brigade said.
They say the billboard owner is responsible for removing the billboard from the property. It is unclear who that is and when the object will be moved.
No further information was provided.
