PATERSON – A Paterson Police Department officer was arrested Monday on charges that he exposed himself in front of a child in Bloomfield, according to multiple law enforcement sources.

The accused officer, Angel Acevedo, who is 31, has been suspended without pay for 90 days, sources said. Acevedo began working for the Paterson Police Department in July 2019, according to city payroll records.
