Police chased the driver of a stolen car near South Los Angeles.
Hawthorne police began the chase just after 5:20 p.m., but gave up after it entered the 105 Freeway.
The driver weaved through the streets of South LA before entering the freeway. A brief standoff ensued before the driver surrendered.
