Quarterback Daniel Jones is not yet a free agent. That hasn’t stopped a number of teams from reaching out.
Jay Glazer of Fox Sports reports this 10 teams have already registered to Jones – and that one of them is a team he could be playing for right now.
Never mind that no one is generally allowed to speak to Jones or his representation until he approves the waivers. It happens to Jones, and it happens all the time.
As previously mentioned, he can still be claimed off waivers by any team willing to pay $11.83 million for the remainder of the year and accept $23 million in injury guarantees through 2025.
So who would want him to play right away? While the team wasn’t announced, reasonable guesses would be the Raiders, the Raiders, and maybe the Raiders.
