According to Horry County Deputy Coroner Tamara Willard, a woman was shot to death just outside her daughter’s home near Longs.
Diana Osborne, 58, was shot and killed along Star Bluff Road around 12:30 a.m. on Aug. 20, according to the Horry County police report. Osborne also lives in the area, Willard said in an email.
She died at the scene, Willard said.
No suspect has been arrested in connection with Osborne’s shooting. Horry County police are searching for a person allegedly involved in the incident.
No details about the shooting have been released.
Police are investigating the incident.
