San Francisco’s 18-story federal building will be formally dedicated Monday as Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s federal building.
U.S. Rep. Nancy Pelosi will unveil new signage for the tower, located one block south of Market Street at 7th Street, across from the U.S. Court of Appeals building.
The building opened in 2007 and houses offices for Pelosi, along with the Social Security Administration, the U.S. Department of Labor, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the U.S. Department of Transportation.
Pelosi has represented California’s 11th Congressional District for 37 years. In 2007, she was elected the first woman to become Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives.
