CHICAGO (CBS) — After the weekend’s rain, the Chicago area will enjoy drier weather and warmer than normal temperatures on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Expect sunshine Tuesday afternoon with highs in the lower 70s, but cooler breezes near the lake.

A passing storm will move through the area early Wednesday morning, with a slight chance of light rain before pleasant sunshine returns.

It looks like a larger storm will bring our next round of wet rain Thursday into early Friday, with one to two inches of rain looking possible.
