The Power and Rewards of Celebrity Podcasting

Celebrities are discovering the power of podcasting and the payday that comes with it. Jason Kelce and his brother Travis signed a three-year deal with Amazon’s Wondery. The $100 million deal gives the platform advertising rights to the brothers’ podcast “New Heights,” as well as merchandise rights. Alex Cooper is also cashing in by moving her podcast to SiriusXM in a reported $125 million deal. Joe Rogan reportedly extended his contract with Spotify earlier this year, making his podcast worth a whopping $250 million.
